AVIATION NEWS- Jeddah Airports Company has announced the phased launch of operations at Terminal 4 of King Abdulaziz International Airport, beginning on Sunday, September 27, 2026, as part of efforts to enhance facilities, improve operational efficiency, and accommodate growing passenger traffic.
Flights operated by Wizz Air, AJet, and SalamAir will relocate to Terminal 4 on Sunday, with additional airlines moving gradually under the transition plan. Fly Jinnah and Nesma Airlines will relocate on Monday, September 28, followed by Akasa Air on Tuesday, September 29; SyrianAir and Pegasus on Thursday, October 1; and Azerbaijan Airlines and Tunisair on Saturday, October 3.
Terminal 4 covers 97,000 square meters and has an annual capacity of 15 million passengers. It features advanced operational systems and modern facilities, including a dedicated area for processing group check-ins for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. King Abdulaziz International Airport recorded its highest-ever traffic volume in 2025, serving 53.4 million passengers.
The company advised travelers to verify their departure terminal before heading to the airport through their airline’s official channels or King Abdulaziz International Airport’s official website and social media accounts.
